Responsibilities
- Review technical design documents and API specifications to provide feedback on testability and integration bottlenecks.
- Partner with leadership to define the automation strategy for new feature releases.
- Design and execute complex test cases for frontend and backend systems.
- Develop comprehensive test suites for RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
- Maintain and extend backend automation frameworks using AI tools.
- Establish QA best practices and coding standards for the automation team.
- Develop automated test result reports and highlight quality risks.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and track bugs to resolution using AI tools.
- Advocate for automation and collaborate with engineering to reduce manual testing efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 8-12 years in Software Quality Assurance with a track record in complex systems.
- Proficiency in AI-powered tools for test authoring and debugging.
- Skilled in designing and maintaining automation frameworks for services.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python.
- Hands-on expertise in manual and automated testing of frontend and backend APIs.
- Experience with CI/CD and SDLC concepts, including continuous testing.
- Experience managing the full release cycle from test requirements to Go/No-Go decisions.
- Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
- Strong experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with version control systems, test management tools, and issue-tracking platforms.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Performance and load testing experience is a plus.
