Responsibilities
- Own and drive the end-to-end test strategy for the firewall control plane.
- Define quality goals, test approaches, and success metrics.
- Design, develop, and enhance test automation frameworks using Python.
- Lead API, CLI, and system-level automation for networking solutions.
- Participate in design and architecture reviews to represent quality expectations.
- Collaborate with development and support teams on debugging and issue resolution.
- Mentor junior engineers on complex features and advanced test approaches.
- Research and introduce new testing tools and best practices.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of overall experience with a strong focus on test automation.
- Solid experience testing networking products such as Firewalls and Routers.
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals and application-level protocols.
- Proven experience in test automation using Python and building reusable libraries.
- Hands-on experience with API testing using tools like Postman.
- Experience across the full Quality Engineering lifecycle.
- Strong debugging skills and experience with log analysis.
- Working knowledge of Linux systems and networking stacks.
