Responsibilities
- Shape Intuit’s long-term technical direction and anticipate challenges requiring fundamentally new solutions.
- Design scalable, resilient, and adaptive systems that enable innovation, velocity, and business value.
- Lead the conversion of existing systems to AI-native architectures and identify appropriate AI techniques and algorithms.
- Integrate industry-leading and emerging technologies into production-grade software.
- Set engineering standards for quality, security, and maintainability.
- Align stakeholders across teams and business units, drive execution, and remove delivery blockers.
- Coach technical leaders and advise senior leadership on team structure and engineering practices.
Requirements
- 12+ years developing systems and software for large-scale business environments.
- 8+ years designing complex distributed systems, platforms, or business applications.
- Hands-on experience integrating AI into production software, ideally including standalone AI projects using commoditized AI tools and agentic workflows.
- Experience modernizing systems toward AI-native patterns; experience driving AI architectural decisions across multiple teams is preferred.
- Full-stack experience with Vertex AI, SageMaker, Bedrock, LLM APIs, agent orchestration frameworks, vector databases, and Python.
- Depth in front-end technologies such as React, Angular, SwiftUI, or Kotlin, or back-end technologies such as Java, TypeScript, Spring, or Node.js.
- Production experience with AWS or GCP.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Track record of influencing technical strategy across business units, aligning executives, mentoring technical leaders, and driving results across globally distributed teams.

- Position based in Mountain View with an expected base pay range of $261,500-$353,500.
- Pay is determined by factors including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
