Responsibilities
- Own one of the core platform areas end-to-end, driving its architecture and reliability.
- Drive technical initiatives from requirements gathering to production delivery.
- Define requirements and next steps in ambiguous situations.
- Design for reliability and scale in platform architecture.
- Support developers with application deployment and monitoring.
- Automate repetitive operations and maintenance tasks.
- Investigate production incidents and lead post-mortems.
- Mentor less experienced engineers through design discussions and reviews.
Requirements
- 6+ years as a DevOps Engineer or SRE.
- Proven track record of owning technical initiatives end-to-end.
- Confident Linux skills, specifically with Ubuntu.
- Working knowledge of the Prometheus stack.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline design.
- Experience with Docker and container management.
- Familiarity with Ansible and Git.
- Scripting experience in Bash or Python for automation.
- Production/on-call experience in diagnosing incidents.
- Experience mentoring less experienced engineers.
