Base Salary
$180k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical consulting and product guidance to banks and other partners integrating Wise products.
- Define technical solutions, document requirements, and support partners during implementation.
- Support business development and technical presales through technical scoping, feature design, and partnership support.
- Participate in feature definition, prioritization, and long-term Wise Platform strategy.
- Design and develop features for Wise services and expose them through the public API when needed.
- Improve integration resources including documentation, APIs, SDKs, code samples, and reference implementations.
- Troubleshoot, test, and resolve technical issues while supporting the API support team with complex problems.
- Collaborate with Implementation Managers, Product Managers, Engineers, and technical presales teams.
- Improve internal processes for managing multiple integrations and help scale Wise Platform into new regions.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in customer-facing engineering roles, ideally in financial services or a similar domain.
- Familiarity with design patterns and architectural principles including domain-driven design, event-driven architecture, and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity and working experience with Java, Spring, Kubernetes, AWS, service mesh technologies, RESTful APIs, API design, Swagger, OpenAPI, and OAuth2.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL and non-relational databases such as MongoDB and Cassandra.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, communication, interpersonal, self-management, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences and manage projects and deals across multiple workstreams.
- A customer-centric approach and ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in solutions engineering, IT consulting, partner engineering, integration engineering, or solutions consulting is preferred.
