Base Salary

$190k - $220k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead development of core platforms and services spanning networking, agentic AI, distributed data processing, real-time analytics, and intelligent automation.
  • Design and build scalable, secure, reliable, observable, adaptable, and safe systems for enterprise use cases.
  • Develop systems that process large volumes of real-time network and operational data and derive actionable insights.
  • Architect and implement event-driven microservices, distributed data platforms, cloud infrastructure, and intelligent agent capabilities.
  • Own software development lifecycle activities including architecture, coding, code reviews, testing, builds, deployment, and production operations.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and guide solutions to complex and ambiguous problems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 8 years of complete software development lifecycle experience, including architecture, design, coding, reviews, testing, builds, deployment, and production operations.
  • At least 8 years of programming experience with proficiency in a general-purpose language, preferably Python, Java, Go, or C++.
  • At least 5 years leading the design and architecture of large-scale distributed systems, preferably on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with real-time microservices, stream processing, distributed data platforms, cloud infrastructure, AI or agentic systems, network telemetry, or large-scale analytics.
  • Experience designing high-volume, high-velocity data systems with stringent scalability, availability, latency, and operational reliability requirements.
  • Experience mentoring engineers, serving as a technical lead, or leading an engineering team.
  • Ability to solve complex, ambiguous technical problems and turn them into production-ready solutions.
  • Preferred: master’s or PhD in a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Preferred: experience with scalable event-driven microservices, real-time operational or network data, networking, observability, telemetry, distributed control-plane systems, and large-scale datasets.
  • Preferred: experience building generative AI or agentic systems involving tool use, planning, memory, retrieval, orchestration, evaluation, and production deployment.
  • Preferred: experience with Kafka, Spark, Flink, PySpark, MapReduce, or comparable technologies.
