Responsibilities
- Define and drive Webflow’s end-to-end deployment strategy from CI pipelines through production rollout.
- Own and evolve the GitOps-based deployment platform, including ArgoCD and Argo Rollouts, for scalability, reliability, and usability.
- Design and implement progressive delivery mechanisms such as canary releases, blue/green deployments, feature flags, and automated rollback.
- Set technical direction and guide architecture decisions that improve developer velocity and system reliability.
- Establish and promote best practices for CI/CD, release engineering, and environment management.
- Identify and remove bottlenecks affecting developer productivity and cycle time.
- Build and evolve internal tooling for testing and deployment workflows.
- Improve operational excellence through observability, monitoring, and incident-driven improvements.
- Mentor engineers and influence teams through technical leadership, design reviews, and cross-team collaboration.
Requirements
- BS or BA degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 7 years of experience in DevOps, site reliability, or infrastructure engineering roles.
- Business-level fluency in English for reading, writing, and speaking.
- Deep expertise with Kubernetes, GitOps workflows, ArgoCD, and Argo Rollouts.
- Experience designing and scaling CI/CD systems for large engineering organizations.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, including AWS, containerization with Docker, and distributed systems.
- Experience implementing progressive delivery techniques such as canary releases, blue/green deployments, feature flags, and automated rollback.
- Experience with infrastructure as code and system automation using tools such as Pulumi or Terraform.
- Ability to own ambiguous cross-cutting problems, develop technical strategies, and balance execution with architectural vision.
- Strong track record of improving developer velocity, reliability, and system scalability.
- Ability to influence engineering teams through technical leadership and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive interest in AI and emerging technologies.
