Responsibilities
- Build and evolve backend services for internal tools and customer-facing experiences.
- Design and implement APIs, event-driven workflows, and services in .NET and C#.
- Develop with Azure services including Service Bus, Azure Functions, and Azure Storage.
- Support products and workflows used by SOC analysts, internal teams, and customers.
- Improve existing systems and create new services and product features.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers, product stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering speed, quality, and leverage.
- Contribute to CI/CD and infrastructure workflows, including Terraform where applicable.
Requirements
- At least four years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong experience with .NET and C#.
- Practical experience with Azure and cloud-based service development.
- Experience building or maintaining event-driven systems.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including maintainable code, testing, debugging, and architecture.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an evolving product environment and communicate clearly across teams.
- A product-oriented and adaptable approach to engineering, including openness to AI-assisted development.
- Preferred: a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred: frontend exposure, automated testing and test strategy, Terraform or infrastructure-as-code experience, and experience with distributed, microservices, or data-heavy systems.
