Responsibilities
- Design, build, and improve tools, libraries, and frameworks for the engineering team.
- Build and test scalable tools for deployment to automotive and cloud platforms.
- Optimize compile and build times using Bazel, CMake, and Docker.
- Improve software deployment and data-collection frameworks.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks within the software stack.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Fluency in written and verbal English and Japanese, with the ability to work in a bilingual business environment.
- Experience working directly with customers.
- Some experience with Python, Go, Java, or Kotlin.
- Experience with CI, build, deployment, and automation technologies including Bazel, Buildkite, Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
- Experience with Linux and/or ARM systems.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
- Experience with C and C++, automotive or related industries, and deployment to public clouds such as AWS or on-premise clusters is preferred.
