Base Salary
$150k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Fine-tune and evaluate state-of-the-art language models.
- Optimize prompts for classification accuracy, personalized outputs, and style enforcement.
- Develop multi-agent workflows that incorporate data from diverse sources using RAG.
- Improve and iterate on AI agents using observability and experimentation tools.
- Track emerging literature and technologies to solve novel problems.
- Partner with product and design teams to build intuitive applications with societal impact.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of Python experience.
- At least 1 year of experience with an LLM framework such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
- At least 1 year of experience building agentic or RAG applications.
- Strong exploratory data analysis skills and the ability to use data to inform practical solutions.
- Experience advancing LLM capabilities on novel tasks with subjective outputs.
- Experience building highly extensible, modular codebases and complex pipelines.
- Ability to act as a project owner by pitching, planning, and implementing projects in a fast-paced team.
- Ability to contribute as a leader while taking on multiple responsibilities as the team grows.
- Valid authorization to work in Canada or the United States.
- Strong open-source portfolio is a bonus.
- Publications at top-tier machine-learning venues are a bonus.
- Early-stage startup experience is a bonus.
- Experience with prompt-optimization frameworks such as DSPy or TextGrad is a bonus.
