Responsibilities
- Lead the technical roadmap for the App Marketplace and Extension Framework.
- Make architectural decisions and establish coding standards, observability patterns, and security practices.
- Design and evolve platforms and integrations across accounting, HR, ERP, marketplace, payment, and open-banking systems.
- Build secure, reliable APIs, SDKs, webhooks, and UI-extension patterns for third-party developers and partners.
- Improve developer experience through documentation, sandboxes, and tooling.
- Lead ambiguous cross-functional initiatives from technical strategy through delivery.
- Partner with engineering, product, design, and go-to-market teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience developing internet applications, large financial systems, or e-commerce platforms.
- Strong programming or scripting skills in Java, Kotlin, C++, Python, or a similar language.
- Deep familiarity with the standard library, idiomatic usage, and best practices of a primary programming language.
- Direct experience building or maintaining a public-facing developer platform, app marketplace, or extension framework.
- Experience designing scalable systems and making architectural decisions across complex technical domains.
- Track record of leading ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives from technical strategy through delivery.
- Preferred: deep expertise in Domain-Driven Design and applying it to complex business logic and microservice boundaries.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and advanced observability tools.
- Preferred: experience integrating AI or large language models to automate integration workflows or improve developer tooling.
