Responsibilities
- Make technical decisions affecting multiple teams and organizational boundaries.
- Establish conventions and processes for other employees to follow.
- Handle and prioritize multiple multi-team initiatives simultaneously.
- Apply evolving industry capabilities and practices to achieve optimal results.
- Communicate technical issues to non-technical audiences.
- Improve the technical results of other employees through mentoring, modeling, one-on-ones, working sessions, and documentation.
- Partner with product management to ideate solutions to business problems and goals.
Requirements
- Minimum: 8+ years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preferred: 15+ years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preferred: 7 years of experience leading others.
- Ability to make cross-organizational technical decisions, manage multi-team initiatives, apply industry practices, communicate with non-technical audiences, and mentor others.
