Responsibilities
- Conceive and implement algorithmic solutions to complex geometric modeling problems.
- Develop core geometric modeling technologies for home design, presentation, and analysis.
- Collaborate with engineers, product, and customer success teams to define behavior and identify product gaps.
- Write tests covering difficult corner cases and ensure code robustness.
- Mentor junior developers.
- Deliver working software, gather user feedback, and iterate on solutions.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience working in CAD or geometric modeling.
- Knowledge of geometric modeling techniques including meshes, BReps, NURBS, and BSPs.
- Ability to understand and navigate a large TypeScript and React codebase.
- Professional fluency with modern development tools and AI-assisted workflows.
- Clear ownership of the correctness, maintainability, and behavior of produced code.
- Strong communication skills for explaining tradeoffs, delivery timelines, and decisions.
- Interest in homebuilding, construction, or home design is preferred.
