Base Salary
$160k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy enterprise-grade AWS cloud infrastructure using infrastructure as code.
- Support migration of analytics data platforms from legacy on-premises environments to AWS GovCloud.
- Maintain continuous uptime, high availability, security accreditation, and current platform versions.
- Execute automated patch management, data backup and recovery, disaster recovery, and incident response.
- Deploy and manage Posit Workbench and Posit Connect for analytics, AI/ML systems, and data-driven applications.
- Support development and modernization of data applications through Agile, SAFe, and PI planning practices.
- Coordinate directly with the customer and communicate complex technical information through discussions, briefings, and written materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, mathematics, or an equivalent technical area, or 3 years of equivalent industry experience in lieu of a degree.
- 3–5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering or a related field.
- Experience architecting and deploying enterprise AWS cloud infrastructure with infrastructure as code, version management, automated patch management, disaster recovery, and high availability.
- Experience developing software in an Agile environment, including applied SAFe and PI planning experience.
- Experience deploying and managing Posit data science tools in AWS cloud environments.
- Extensive knowledge of DevOps practices, cloud architecture, microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, Platform as a Service, Kubernetes or PCF, and infrastructure as code.
- DOD 8570 Level II certification, such as CompTIA Security+.
- U.S. citizenship and a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Preferred experience managing multiple Neo4j databases across cloud environments.
- Preferred knowledge of ICD 503 and RMF, including obtaining an Authorization to Operate.
- Preferred cloud architecture certification involving AWS, GCP, or Azure.
