Base Salary
$160k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems for automated order-taking.
- Collaborate with teams to integrate backend systems with ML models and client devices.
- Monitor and optimize backend performance in production environments.
- Build and maintain integrations with third-party restaurant software systems.
- Implement best practices in system design, code quality, and testing.
- Optimize AI pipelines for challenging audio environments and customer requests.
- Run experiments to validate product impact of new functionalities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in developing and maintaining backend infrastructure.
- Proven track record of building scalable, high-performance backend systems.
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and deployment technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to a startup environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Results-oriented with a focus on the impact of work.
