Responsibilities
- Design and implement a highly scalable multi-tenant control plane for AI storage and cloud infrastructure.
- Develop exabyte-scale S3-compatible object storage and distributed filesystem capabilities.
- Integrate dedicated storage clusters into diverse customer environments.
- Optimize storage performance and efficiency using RDMA, GPU Direct Storage, RoCE, InfiniBand, SPDK, and distributed filesystems.
- Improve the reliability, durability, and observability of the storage stack.
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize storage systems using telemetry, metrics, and dashboards.
- Collaborate with platform, product, infrastructure, compute, and operations teams to deliver storage capabilities.
- Mentor engineers and share best practices for building distributed, high-performance systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in storage systems engineering or infrastructure.
- Strong hands-on production experience with object storage or distributed filesystems.
- Experience with storage protocols such as S3 or NFS and filesystems such as Ceph, DAOS, or similar.
- Proficiency in a systems programming language such as Go, C++, or Rust.
- Familiarity with storage observability tools and telemetry pipelines such as ClickHouse, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Understanding of cloud-native infrastructure, Kubernetes, and scalable system architecture.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in distributed, high-performance environments.
- Clear communication and ability to collaborate across teams and share technical knowledge.
