Responsibilities
- Work with customers and partners on global implementation projects.
- Analyze customer environments, needs, and existing setups and provide documented implementation guidelines.
- Enable customers to configure environments from test through production.
- Design, develop, and oversee solutions that improve product stability, scalability, availability, and latency.
- Deploy Java applications, tune JVMs, and work with Tomcat and cloud environments.
- Advise customers on security standards and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, business analysis, and R&D teams to improve the product.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Experience designing or building mission-critical large-scale internet or cloud-based services.
- Proven experience with production systems and handling production issues.
- Working knowledge of Maven, Jenkins, and Shell.
- Experience deploying Java applications, JVM tuning, and Tomcat.
- Experience with AWS or Google Cloud and expertise with Linux/Unix systems.
- Exposure to DevOps tools including Travis CI, GitLab, Jenkins, GoCD, Chef, Salt, Puppet, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
- Preferred experience with Ansible, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Spring Boot, database administration, and Helm charts.
