Responsibilities
- Validate Security Center Video Management across multiple platforms, browsers, and devices.
- Plan, design, and execute manual functional, integration, regression, compatibility, usability, and exploratory tests.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated end-to-end, integration, UI, and API test suites.
- Develop automation tools and frameworks for test-environment provisioning, orchestration, and CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Identify, document, troubleshoot, and track defects while collaborating with development teams on root-cause analysis and fix validation.
- Participate in the software delivery lifecycle and collaborate with developers, designers, analysts, and product teams to improve quality, usability, and testability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, software engineering, or computer science, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 2 years of professional QA experience.
- Strong understanding of video systems, streaming, H.264, H.265, resolution, and frame rate.
- Knowledge of networking concepts including latency, bandwidth, packet loss, RTSP, HTTP, and IP protocols.
- Experience working with and troubleshooting Windows environments.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies and strong analytical, detail-oriented, and troubleshooting skills.
- Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
- Test automation and programming experience is an asset.
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems is an asset.
- Knowledge of software security and secure testing practices is an asset.
- Linux troubleshooting and basic scripting experience is an asset.
