Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end, integration, UI, and API test automation frameworks for the Video Management system.
- Implement performance, load, stress, soak, and scalability testing using performance monitoring tools.
- Build test automation infrastructure for environment provisioning, orchestration, multi-node simulation, and CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Investigate test failures, debug distributed-system issues, and support root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams on automation strategies and tests for new features and complex scenarios.
- Document and track defects and collaborate with development teams to validate fixes.
- Support the Agile/Kanban delivery lifecycle, faster validation cycles, and continuous deployment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 2 years of professional software testing or test automation experience.
- Proficiency in C#, .NET, SQL, and PowerShell.
- Strong understanding of programming and test automation frameworks.
- Demonstrated expertise in performance, load, stress, and scalability testing.
- Advanced knowledge of video systems, streaming technologies, H.264 and H.265 codecs, and RTSP, HTTP, and IP networking protocols.
- Understanding of backend architectures, databases, and distributed systems.
- Experience with Windows and Linux environments, test-environment orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in French and English, both verbal and written.
- Experience with Selenium, Playwright, TestNG, NUnit, Bruno, Postman, Prometheus, Grafana, container technologies, Kubernetes, Azure, AWS, Git, or Linux is an asset.
