Responsibilities
- Validate new and existing Security Center functionality.
- Design, create, and execute manual test cases for backend systems and databases.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing to assess backend processes, performance, and scalability.
- Identify, document, and track software defects.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements and develop testing strategies.
- Verify backend data flows and system integrity.
- Analyze system logs, performance metrics, database operations, and responses to identify issues and bottlenecks.
- Use PowerShell tools and scripts to streamline testing workflows.
- Prepare test summary reports and related documentation.
- Improve testing processes and tools for efficiency and reliability.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in manual software testing, preferably with backend systems.
- Strong understanding of backend architecture, databases, and data flows.
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments, command-line usage, navigation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft SQL and PowerShell scripting.
- Ability to analyze system logs and performance metrics and debug backend issues.
- Experience troubleshooting in Windows Server environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Fluency in French and English, both verbally and in writing.
- Experience with Git is an asset.
- Familiarity with C# and the .NET framework is an asset.
- Advanced Linux/Unix scripting and system administration experience is an asset.
