Responsibilities
- Design and manage versioned, reproducible, and scalable multi-cloud AWS and GCP infrastructure using Terraform.
- Oversee production-grade Kubernetes clusters, including cluster health, resource optimization, and application deployment.
- Build and maintain specialized infrastructure for AI workloads.
- Manage vector search databases and PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB data systems.
- Implement monitoring and alerting with Datadog and Prometheus for proactive issue detection and resolution.
- Maintain automation code in Python, Go, or Bash and integrate LLMs into scripting, documentation, and operational workflows.
- Manage cloud networking, load balancing, service meshes, and caching layers such as Redis.
- Lead debugging, root cause analysis, and incident response for distributed systems as part of an on-call rotation.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or site reliability engineering, including at least 5 years focused on cloud-native environments.
- Strong Linux administration and performance-tuning skills, including command-line diagnosis of system issues.
- Expert-level Terraform or OpenTofu experience and experience managing infrastructure state at scale.
- Production Kubernetes experience, including EKS, GKE, or self-managed Kubernetes.
- Strong proficiency in Python or Go and software-engineering rigor around infrastructure code, testing, pull-request reviews, and CI/CD.
- Hands-on experience managing relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience leveraging and securing platform-as-a-service offerings.
- Practical experience using LLMs, including GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude, to improve individual and team productivity.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and independently.
- Strong technical, organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical problems and solutions in English through text-based channels such as Slack.
