Responsibilities
- Design the next generation of Stripe products for the company’s and customers’ growth needs.
- Build, test, and ship products and features across technologies, systems, and processes.
- Deliver value through collaboration with stakeholders and customers.
- Participate in roadmap planning and prioritization.
- Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, design, and operations experts on mission-critical internal and external features.
Requirements
- 2–12+ years of experience in backend software development.
- Ability to write high-quality code in programming languages such as Go, Java, C, or C++.
- Hands-on experience contributing to or building large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work across team workstreams.
- Ability to thrive with substantial autonomy and responsibility.
