Base Salary
$97k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and integrate generative AI applications using hosted foundation models, managed GenAI APIs, and open-model endpoints.
- Design context engineering and prompt engineering workflows using retrieved knowledge, tools, memory, and task metadata.
- Develop and maintain RAG systems with chunking, embeddings, hybrid search, and re-ranking.
- Build knowledge graphs, Graph RAG pipelines, tool-using agents, and multi-agent workflows.
- Integrate agents with external tools and data through MCP and support agent-to-agent collaboration through A2A.
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain GenAI and agentic applications in production environments.
- Perform data preprocessing, document ingestion, and API development for AI applications.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, AI architects, senior developers, and business stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, and ongoing GenAI and agentic AI learning.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional experience in software or AI development with hands-on Generative AI and agentic AI exposure.
- Demonstrated experience delivering AI or GenAI projects in collaborative team environments.
- Proficiency in Python for GenAI development, data preprocessing, and scripting.
- Understanding of foundation models, LLMs, tokenization, embeddings, context windows, prompt engineering, and context engineering.
- Experience building RAG systems, including chunking strategies, vector databases, and hybrid search.
- Familiarity with knowledge graphs and Graph RAG, plus exposure to tool-using agents and multi-step workflows.
- Experience with an agent framework such as Google ADK, LangGraph, CrewAI, or the OpenAI Agents SDK.
- Working knowledge of tool/function calling, MCP, A2A, session and state management, memory, guardrails, and execution controls.
- Practical experience consuming major GenAI APIs such as OpenAI, Gemini, or Claude, and using orchestration frameworks such as LangChain and LlamaIndex.
- Understanding of application deployment, containerization, version control, AI compliance, data privacy, guardrails, and responsible AI principles.
- Strong teamwork, communication, analytical, learning, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
