Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java and Spring Boot applications.
- Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices for enterprise and customer-facing platforms.
- Design and deploy cloud-native solutions using AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and improve engineering efficiency through automation and Infrastructure as Code.
- Participate in architecture reviews and make design decisions addressing scalability, performance, security, and cost.
- Support testing, observability, monitoring, reliability, and incident resolution activities.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Security, and Platform teams.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of software engineering experience in enterprise-scale environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience designing and implementing REST APIs and microservices architectures.
- Experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and modern DevOps methodologies.
- Practical experience with Git-based development workflows.
- Knowledge of software design patterns and object-oriented design principles.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes or similar containerization technologies.
- Preferred experience with Terraform, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, New Relic, event-driven architectures, and messaging platforms.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum environments and cloud-native security best practices.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
