Base Salary
$188k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable backend platform infrastructure, abstractions, and tooling for application deployment, authentication, and API services.
- Build and optimize distributed systems that support rapid application development and deployment across the organization.
- Architect and implement plugin systems and extensibility frameworks.
- Create and maintain cross-platform desktop application infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
- Design authentication and authorization systems, automated testing strategies, and integrated authentication solutions.
- Engage with external customers to gather platform feedback and identify improvements.
- Document platform features, APIs, and best practices for internal and external users.
- Implement observability through logging, metrics, and distributed tracing.
- Monitor platform performance and reliability, resolve bottlenecks and failures, participate in on-call rotations, conduct postincident reviews, and improve system resilience and availability.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering is required.
- At least one year of experience in a software engineer role with a technology company is required.
- At least 12 months of experience using Python, Golang, TypeScript or JavaScript, SQL, Flask, Node.js or Express.js, PostgreSQL or MySQL, React.js, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS and GCP cloud services, GitHub, OAuth 2.0, and load balancing is required.
