Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automated software tests using Java and test automation tools.
- Test REST APIs, JSON-based services, web services, and database-backed applications.
- Investigate defects and application issues through structured analysis, log review, and troubleshooting.
- Work with Git or similar version control systems and understand CI/CD concepts and tools.
- Improve test coverage, troubleshoot efficiently, and support clear documentation using AI tools responsibly.
Requirements
- Require 1–3 years of experience in software development, software testing, or quality assurance.
- Require good knowledge of Java, software testing concepts, defect lifecycle, REST APIs, JSON, web services, and basic SQL.
- Require experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or REST Assured.
- Prefer experience with Postman, API testing, JUnit or TestNG, Jira, Zephyr, Xray, or similar tools.
- Prefer previous use of AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, or ChatGPT for coding, test automation, test case creation, debugging, documentation, or productivity.
- Prefer familiarity with Agile delivery, CI/CD, microservices architectures, log analysis, and banking, payments, or regulated environments.
- Require good English communication, analytical and troubleshooting skills, structured issue investigation, ownership, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
