Base Salary
$180k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Scale the analytics engine behind customer-facing dashboards.
- Design ingestion paths, event models, schemas, and query patterns.
- Evolve the schema-flexible, graph-shaped data model.
- Build foundations for historical reporting and auditability.
- Create reliable data systems for usage metering and AI evaluation.
- Determine when to maintain existing architecture or adopt new systems.
- Set technical direction and engineering practices for data systems.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience owning production data systems with user-facing consequences.
- Comfort debugging across multiple layers of the stack.
- Good judgment on tactical fixes versus durable architecture changes.
- Product orientation with a focus on customer impact.
- Clear communication and strong ownership.
