Responsibilities

Maintain on-premise infrastructure, including virtual servers, operating systems, storage, networks, and supporting hardware.
Apply operating system, application, and firmware patches and updates according to schedules and security practices.
Manage backup and restore systems and perform basic infrastructure capacity planning.
Monitor infrastructure performance and availability, analyze logs and metrics, and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
Implement approved configuration changes, install and configure infrastructure software, and test changes for stability.
Apply infrastructure security policies and basic security configurations while managing access to infrastructure.
Create infrastructure documentation, incident reports, and root cause analyses.
Coordinate with application, support, internal, and other stakeholder teams on infrastructure issues and maintenance.
Provide infrastructure-related technical support to internal teams and work outside regular business hours when required for maintenance or critical incidents.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering with a networks/computers focus, or a related field.
At least 1 year of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or in a related position, including on-premise infrastructure maintenance.
Strong understanding of cloud and on-premise environments, including Kubernetes, containerization, Terraform, Ansible, Linux, and customer troubleshooting.
Understanding of on-premise infrastructure security concepts and strong troubleshooting and problem-analysis skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with effective technical communication skills.
Infrastructure certifications such as CompTIA Server+, CompTIA Network+, VMware VCP, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate are a plus.
