Responsibilities
- Conduct secure design reviews and threat modeling to identify threats and define prioritized mitigations and security requirements.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to design and implement security controls across distributed systems, cloud services, and platforms.
- Integrate shift-left security practices from early design through production.
- Triage and drive remediation of findings from penetration tests, red team exercises, and bug bounty programs.
- Identify emerging threats in AI-driven and agent-based products and design controls that support secure product innovation.
Requirements
- At least 3–5 years of experience in application, product, or security engineering, or a related technical security role.
- Knowledge of security risks affecting machine learning products, agent-based systems, AI models, and AI pipelines.
- Demonstrated adversarial mindset with the ability to develop threat models and reduce security risk with engineering teams.
- Experience securing multi-cloud platforms and multi-tenant SaaS systems, including Kubernetes- and Docker-based environments.
- Preferred experience exploiting AI/ML and generative AI security risks, including model poisoning, RAG data leakage, and runtime attack vectors.
- Preferred experience supporting bug bounties, red teaming, and penetration testing.
- External presentations or open-source security projects and tools are preferred.

- Base salary ranges from $117,200–$176,700 annually, or $141,200 –$194,200 annually in select San Francisco and New York City metropolitan areas; bonus, equity, and benefits are excluded.
