Base Salary
$100k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build foundational infrastructure including off-stack code editing with abapGit, search across customer systems, identity and authorization, sandboxes, GUI automation, and customer-landscape integrations.
- Write skills, refine prompts, and improve agent reasoning across SAP modernization, debugging, business process redesign, and code review.
- Create repeatable test cases and benchmarks to identify regressions and measure agent improvement.
- Reproduce, isolate, fix, and prevent issues involving skills, prompts, ABAP code, infrastructure, or models.
- Write and debug Nova code in production SAP systems and resolve transport and installation issues in customer environments.
Requirements
- Deep technical expertise in ABAP, S/4HANA internals, transport systems, BAdIs, and enhancements is required.
- Meaningful production coding experience in Python, TypeScript, Go, or similar languages is required.
- Candidates should have informed opinions on agent design and frontier models.
- At least 5 years of deep SAP technical work is desired.
- Production experience with S/4HANA, Clean Core, or large-scale ABAP modernization is desired.
- Experience at an early-stage startup, infrastructure company, or developer-tools company is desired.
- Familiarity with BTP, RAP, CAP, or Integration Suite is a strong plus.
- Open-source contributions in or adjacent to the SAP ecosystem are a strong plus but are not required.
