Base Salary
$157k - $184k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and evolve customer-facing backend services and public APIs used across multiple products.
- Own features end-to-end from technical design and implementation through rollout and iteration.
- Create technical design documents and drive design plans.
- Partner with Product Management and the Experience team to prioritize tradeoffs and ship features iteratively.
- Build shared platform capabilities that support multiple products and customer segments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building production services and APIs in a modern cloud environment.
- Proficiency with Go (Golang) or strong readiness to ramp quickly.
- Experience designing, implementing, and evolving public APIs used internally and externally, including versioning, backward compatibility, authentication, and usability.
- Familiarity with microservices, containers, Kubernetes, cloud-native architectures, observability, and resilient production services.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with product managers, designers, and engineers across product lines.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced remote startup environment.
