Base Salary
$131k - $237k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated and manual test procedures for embedded software and integrated systems.
- Create and debug Python-based automated test scripts, frameworks, and test harnesses.
- Perform unit, integration, system, regression, performance, and formal qualification testing in simulated, HWIL, and SIL environments.
- Validate interfaces among software, firmware, hardware, and network components.
- Map requirements to test scenarios, procedures, and verification activities and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrices.
- Analyze test data, identify trends and root causes, and produce test findings, reports, and recommendations.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and use Jira for defect and test activity tracking.
- Develop and maintain Software Test Plans, Software Test Descriptions, and Software Test Reports.
- Support test planning, scheduling, technical reviews, Test Readiness Reviews, Test Review Boards, customer demonstrations, and cross-functional issue resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- At least 12 years of experience in software testing, integration, and embedded-systems verification, or at least 10 years with a master’s degree.
- Active Secret security clearance.
- Experience testing embedded systems and integrated hardware/software platforms.
- Experience with software test automation, automated test environments, Python scripting, debugging, and automation framework development.
- Experience with requirements traceability, test scenario and procedure development, and RTM maintenance.
- Experience with network analysis and troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark.
- Experience using Jira for defect tracking, task management, and SAFe workflow support.
- Strong troubleshooting, test-data analysis, documentation, and post-test analysis skills.
