Responsibilities
- Develop full-stack software components for customer business needs within a microservices architecture.
- Participate in application architecture decisions, solution development, architecture reviews, and code reviews.
- Create and review feature design documents and contribute to solution specifications.
- Design and implement unit, integration, functional, and other software tests.
- Troubleshoot, profile, and debug applications while improving development processes.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, architects, QA, and other stakeholders in a distributed Agile team.
- Deliver product roadmap initiatives and write highly testable, automatable, performant code throughout the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- More than five years of software development experience.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and design, clean-code practices, SOLID, DDD, TDD, BDD, algorithms, data structures, and software architecture and design patterns.
- Understanding of database theory, networking protocols and conventions, REST and RPC, authentication and authorization flows, OAuth, and JWT.
- Excellent knowledge and experience with C#, .NET, and React.
- Commercial experience with REST API development, .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, testing frameworks, ORMs, relational databases, Redis, messaging systems, web servers, Git, continuous integration tools, builders, and NoSQL databases.
- More than two years of experience with testing frameworks such as NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest.
- Experience with Entity Framework or Dapper; SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB, or PostgreSQL; MongoDB, Elasticsearch, or CouchDB; and messaging systems such as RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, Apache Kafka, ActiveMQ, AWS SQS, or Google Pub/Sub.
- Knowledge of security patterns, resistance to reverse engineering, and common attack types including OWASP-related concerns.
