Responsibilities
- Build robust and scalable web-based applications.
- Create abstractions and contracts with separation of concerns.
- Drive problem-solving for high-level business and technical problems.
- Conduct high-level design and functional modeling.
- Implement incremental changes to architecture with impact analysis.
- Perform performance tuning in large-scale distributed systems.
- Collaborate with product managers to derive capability views.
- Lead execution of medium-sized projects and track their impact.
Requirements
- Expert programming experience in at least one general programming language (e.g., Java, C, C++).
- Experience with multi-threading and concurrency programming.
- Proven ability to build highly scalable business applications.
- Strong object-oriented design skills and knowledge of design patterns.
- Excellent coding skills with the ability to convert design into code.
- Familiarity with Test Driven Development.
- Good understanding of databases (e.g., MySQL) and NoSQL technologies.
- Experience with full life cycle development in any programming language.
- Experience in a startup environment with high ownership.
- BTech, MTech, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience in coding and problem-solving on a large scale.
