Base Salary
$152k - $223k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of MuleSoft-based integrations using API-led connectivity principles.
- Define and govern enterprise API standards, including RAML/OpenAPI specifications, versioning, and lifecycle management.
- Design and optimize integrations across Salesforce, cloud platforms, and on-premises systems using MuleSoft.
- Ensure integration reliability, scalability, observability, security, error handling, retries, and monitoring.
- Define system interactions, data exchange formats, API contracts, automation triggers, and engineering-level design patterns.
- Collaborate with platform, infrastructure, security, software, engineering, and business teams to align integration architecture.
- Establish and enforce standards for software development, design, documentation, and validation.
- Serve as the engineering authority for cross-system automation and Salesforce integration patterns.
- Drive automation-first and AI-enabled solutions to improve efficiency and delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree, or equivalent education and experience.
- Strong software development skills involving Salesforce.
- Strong hands-on experience designing and delivering integrations using MuleSoft.
- Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams in complex environments.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Must be a US citizen or Green Card holder.
- Preferred: 10+ years of experience with SaaS, cloud-native or cloud-ready systems, systems integration, APIs, network technology and operations, or automation architecture.
- Preferred: experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API Manager, Runtime Manager, and CloudHub.
- Preferred: experience designing System, Process, and Experience APIs using API-led connectivity.
- Preferred: familiarity with common IDEs, automated test suites, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, Swagger/OpenAPI, BPMN, or UML.
- Preferred: experience with service orchestration platforms or workflow engines such as Temporal, Camunda, or Step Functions.
- Preferred: background in software development, systems engineering, technical architecture, or platform engineering.
