Lead Software Engineer (Python, AWS, Network Automation)

Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of software developers.
- Build distributed microservices and full-stack systems that address regulatory and customer needs.
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions.
- Use Python, JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Go, databases, containers, orchestration services, and AWS tools.
- Mentor engineering team members and participate in internal and external technology communities.
- Stay current with technology trends and experiment with new technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 1 year of cloud computing experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Preferred experience with network automation for a network connectivity tower.
- Preferred master’s degree.
- Preferred 7+ years of experience with Python, JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, or Go.
- Preferred 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service.
- Preferred 4+ years of experience with open source frameworks.
- Preferred 1+ years of people management experience.
- Preferred 2+ years of experience with Agile practices.
- Preferred experience using interactive AI tooling beyond basic code completion.
