Base Salary
$127k - $243k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and test complex strategic and tactical solutions across multiple teams and systems.
- Lead code and design reviews, communicate technical impacts, and coordinate delivery across multiple teams.
- Guide solution design and implementation for the mortgage-platform transformation involving Blend and Empower.
- Resolve complex production issues and lead end-to-end troubleshooting across multiple applications and systems.
- Mentor and coach junior and experienced engineers on design principles and engineering practices.
- Partner with architecture teams to define direction for complex and emerging technologies.
- Apply Site Reliability Engineering practices and manage technology risks in accordance with compliance policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.
- At least 8 years of software development experience, including 2 years of technical leadership across multiple Agile teams and complex enterprise initiatives.
- At least 6 years delivering technology solutions across all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Expertise in either the Blend Point of Sale Platform or Dark Matter Empower LOS Platform, including installation, integration, customization, maintenance, support, and end-to-end testing.
- Hands-on experience across responsive web applications, APIs and backend services, and event-driven and data integration platforms.
- Experience with solution design, modernization, systems integration, complex software solutions, and distributed systems.
- Experience integrating AI capabilities into enterprise applications while meeting security, compliance, scalability, observability, and operational-support requirements.
- Preferred experience includes Golang, Java, Python, C++, AWS, Spring, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Git, Control-M, and Snowflake.
- Preferred qualifications include cloud or product certifications and experience with automated data processing, data integration, security, scalability, performance, and critical applications interacting with internal and external systems.
