Lead Software Engineer [Multiple Positions Available]
JPMorgan ChaseResponsibilities
- Lead development, testing, deployment, administration, and troubleshooting of Snowflake data warehouse features.
- Build cloud data solutions and data lakes, architect data platforms, and enable generative AI capabilities.
- Develop applications and serverless computing services using Python and SQL.
- Use AWS and Terraform to deploy and automate cloud infrastructure.
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux and Windows operating systems, databases, and software applications.
- Use Spinnaker, GitHub, and Jenkins to automate software deployment activities.
- Apply application architecture and data architecture disciplines to infrastructure decisions.
- Use Tableau and ThoughtSpot to analyze data and create business reports.
- Conduct automated, functional, performance, regression, smoke, system integration, unit, and user acceptance testing.
- Conduct code reviews and improve software engineering quality, reliability, and maintainability.
- Automate remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stability.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field plus three years of relevant experience.
- Alternatively, bachelor's degree in one of the listed or related fields plus five years of relevant experience.
- Experience testing, deploying, and troubleshooting Snowflake data warehouse features.
- Experience with AWS, Terraform, Linux, Windows, Spinnaker, GitHub, Jenkins, Python, SQL, DynamoDB, Snowflake, Bootstrap, JSON, Tableau, ThoughtSpot, and XML.
- Experience with application architecture, data architecture, scalable application development, serverless computing, and broad software testing processes.
- Experience applying Agile software development life cycle practices and using data integration platforms.
