Responsibilities
- Define and implement system integration testing strategy, frameworks, governance, quality gates, and best practices.
- Lead end-to-end testing of APIs, applications, databases, cloud platforms, third-party integrations, event-driven systems, and data pipelines.
- Design and execute load, stress, endurance, scalability, and performance testing while establishing SLA and KPI baselines.
- Drive automation, continuous testing, regression testing, CI/CD integration, and shift-left quality practices.
- Lead validation of data integrity, ETL and streaming pipelines, SQL queries, stored procedures, relational databases, and NoSQL systems.
- Develop testing strategies for Azure and AWS cloud-native systems, microservices, containers, and distributed architectures.
- Lead defect triage, root cause analysis, risk mitigation, and proactive defect prevention across application, database, and infrastructure layers.
- Advance AI-driven testing, including intelligent test generation, predictive defect detection, anomaly detection, self-healing automation, and data-driven optimization.
- Mentor SIT engineers, provide technical direction and escalation support, and drive continuous improvement in testing processes and tools.
- Communicate performance, quality, and risk findings to leadership and lead cross-functional SIT governance meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in system integration testing, performance engineering and load testing, automation, and distributed systems testing.
- Proficiency with Selenium, Cypress, Postman, REST Assured, Karate, JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, k6, Grafana, Dynatrace, and AppDynamics.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
- Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization and stored procedures, with experience in SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
- Experience validating ETL and streaming data pipelines and large-scale, data-intensive systems.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Preferred experience with AI-driven testing tools, predictive analytics, anomaly detection, IoT, firmware or hardware integration ecosystems, and Agile, DevOps, or SRE practices.
- Strong strategic problem-solving, technical leadership, mentoring, communication, stakeholder management, and continuous-improvement skills.
