Base Salary
$209k - $286k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Design and implement large-scale, distributed, cloud-native systems with high reliability and performance requirements.
- Provide technical leadership across multiple teams and shape system architecture and long-term technology direction.
- Partner with architects and product leaders to define platform roadmaps and shared-services strategy.
- Build the agentic orchestration layer that composes, sequences, and operates AI agents as a unified associate experience.
- Mentor engineers, contribute to technology communities, and influence enterprise-wide technical standards and practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 6 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred experience includes 9+ years coding with multiple listed languages, 5+ years with open-source frameworks and front-end JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks, and 5+ years creating synchronous and asynchronous APIs.
- Preferred experience includes database systems, AWS/GCP/Azure or related cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, automated testing, Git-based version control, and cloud troubleshooting.
- Preferred experience includes mentoring senior engineers, using observability and reliability practices at scale, leading architecture reviews, enforcing coding standards, and influencing technology strategy.
- Experience with modern AI-based coding tools, interactive AI productivity tooling, cross-functional engineering efforts, and large-scale technical initiatives is preferred.
