Responsibilities
- Design scalable cloud-native systems on platforms like AWS or Google Cloud.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using HashiCorp Terraform.
- Build secure multi-account and cross-cloud environments.
- Optimize cost efficiency for high-scale data workloads.
- Enable visibility on performance and cost metrics per environment.
- Deploy and manage clusters with Kubernetes.
- Implement blue/green and canary deployment strategies.
- Build robust automations using CI/CD tools.
- Automate testing, security scans, and compliance checks.
- Assist team members in architectural choices of cloud services.
- Enforce a coherent configuration surface to improve deployment time.
- Champion DRY and DevOps principles across the team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Data Platform Engineering or related fields.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS or Google Cloud.
- Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code using HashiCorp.
- Deep experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar.
- Knowledge of Golang is a plus.
- Experience with observability and monitoring solutions.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts.
- Experience with data-intensive, AI/ML, or marketing technology platforms.
- Knowledge of security principles and compliance standards.
- Experience supporting multi-region, globally distributed systems.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
