Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, and develop integration-services solutions using coding best practices and non-functional considerations.
- Develop enterprise web applications and system integrations involving file transport, messaging, APIs, and proprietary or industry-standard formats.
- Build solutions using integration software from bespoke, vendor, and open-source sources.
- Participate in major technical upgrades and large technical initiatives.
- Manage tasks across and outside the agile team, meeting deadlines and agreed quality standards.
- Understand user needs, propose optimized solutions, and anticipate and resolve critical issues and risks.
- Use transmission protocols, BPM-based tools, and integration technologies to deliver business solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least 6 years of experience developing enterprise web applications, including Java and Spring Boot or Python.
- Experience with Angular and/or React.js and Node.js.
- Experience with one or more of REST, SOAP, GraphQL, gRPC, Avro, or WebSocket.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL and/or NoSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with unit-testing frameworks such as JUnit or Pytest.
- Hands-on experience with at least one of Azure, AWS, GCP, or OpenShift.
- Experience with build frameworks or tools such as Maven, Gradle, Poetry, PDM, or Pipenv.
- Experience working in agile teams and understanding of the agile model.
- Preferred experience with Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps/CI/CD, IBM MQ, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka, SFTP, FTP, Samba, MFT, and AI coding assistants such as Co-pilot or Devin.
- Strong results focus, business acumen, curiosity, analytical and problem-solving skills, teamwork, and ability to work independently.
