Responsibilities
- Advise enterprise C-suite executives on AI readiness, data democratization, and high-performance object storage.
- Design and validate large-scale customer architectures integrating MinIO with AI/ML pipelines and data lakehouse ecosystems.
- Support enterprise sales and customer success teams during high-stakes deals, proofs of concept, and deployments.
- Represent MinIO at conferences, webinars, and meetups and create whitepapers, reference architectures, and blog posts.
- Translate customer needs, market trends, and emerging AI and analytics patterns into product and engineering feedback.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in technical leadership roles such as Enterprise Architect, Chief Architect, VP of Engineering, or Field CTO.
- Experience in customer-facing or evangelist roles presenting to technical audiences and C-level business executives.
- Deep understanding of generative AI, LLMs, RAG workflows, vector databases, and AI/ML data pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of PyTorch, TensorFlow, Ray, Hugging Face, and the challenges of feeding data to GPUs.
- Expertise with Apache Iceberg, Apache Hudi, Delta Lake, object storage, Trino, Presto, Apache Spark, Flink, and StarRocks.
- Understanding of data lakehouse architectures and the transition from traditional data warehouses.
- Strong command of Kubernetes, containerization, cloud-native orchestration, the AWS S3 API, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems design.
