Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, robust, and secure software from inception through deployment and production support.
- Design and maintain scalable RESTful, GraphQL, socket-based, and microservices-integrated API solutions.
- Contribute to architectural design, feature requirements, and solution analysis.
- Lead automated testing strategies covering performance, load, and security testing.
- Build and maintain CI/CD build and deployment pipelines.
- Provide proactive troubleshooting and production support to improve application reliability.
- Automate manual tasks and use platform tools to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Mentor junior engineers and uplift code quality, engineering standards, and cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
- Proven backend and server-side engineering expertise using Node.js, asynchronous programming, and modern backend frameworks.
- Extensive experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable API solutions.
- Understanding of modern frontend frameworks and principles for collaboration and end-to-end troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of application and system architecture, clean code, and SOLID principles.
- Experience leading automated testing across deployment pipelines, including performance, load, and security testing.
- Hands-on experience with cloud architecture, DevOps practices, and infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, or Docker.
- Experience establishing automated CI/CD build and deployment pipelines using tools such as BuildKite or Jenkins.
- Demonstrated technical leadership and experience mentoring junior engineers.
