Base Salary
$125k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop cloud-managed access control systems for managing doors, schedules, and user credentials
- Drive partially defined product ideas through completion and deliver best-in-class products and experiences
- Solve complex technical problems and take ownership of major systems
- Collaborate with firmware, backend, and frontend engineers
- Teach and learn within a rapidly growing startup environment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience working on Linux development as a Software Engineer
- Proficiency in C and C++
- Familiarity with Linux servers, Linux device drivers, Linux kernel patches, secure operating systems, and security-focused programming
- Preferred experience with embedded Linux
- Bash scripting experience
- Experience working with distributed systems
- Understanding of HTTP and practical debugging techniques
- Nice-to-have experience with Yocto and Secure Boot
- Nice-to-have familiarity with Go, Python, and WebRTC
- Must be willing and able to work onsite five days per week
