Responsibilities
- Develop software for cloud-managed access control systems and devices.
- Take technical ownership of major systems and drive ambiguous product ideas through completion.
- Work with firmware, backend, and frontend engineers to build access control products.
- Solve complex problems, learn new technologies, and contribute to a collaborative engineering team.
Requirements
- BS or graduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or science.
- At least 3 years of experience working on Linux development as a software engineer.
- Proficiency in C/C++.
- Familiarity with Linux servers, Linux device drivers, Linux kernel patches, secure operating systems, and security-focused programming.
- Preferred experience with embedded Linux.
- Experience with Bash scripting and Yocto.
- Familiarity with Secure Boot, Go, Python, and WebRTC.
- Experience with distributed systems and understanding of HTTP and practical debugging techniques.
- Must be willing and able to work onsite five days per week.
