Responsibilities
- Build user interfaces for embedded access-control devices with screens.
- Develop a reusable UI framework for Verkada’s current and future screen devices.
- Take technical ownership of major product components and drive ambiguous product ideas through completion.
- Collaborate with software engineers and UX designers to deliver intuitive, best-in-class products and experiences.
- Solve complex problems and learn new technologies in a startup-like environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a science discipline.
- At least 3 years of UI development experience on embedded devices, video games, and/or mobile applications.
- Proficiency in C/C++.
- Strong visual design and UX sensibility.
- Ability to take an incompletely defined product idea through to completion.
- Android mobile application development experience is preferred but optional.
- Must be willing and able to work onsite five days per week.
