Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain Blue Yonder WMS MOCA commands, transactions, scripts, queries, services, and related components.
- Build custom PageBuilder UI screens and configure RF screens, tasks, wave planning, allocation rules, and inventory controls.
- Build and maintain integrations between Blue Yonder WMS and SAP, Oracle, TMS, labeling systems, and external applications using BY Integrator, REST/SOAP APIs, XML/JSON services, and flat-file interfaces.
- Optimize queries and MOCA transactions; diagnose database performance issues, deadlocks, long-running jobs, and system bottlenecks.
- Support database migration, schema management, environment refreshes, integration troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and real-time data flows.
- Lead WMS development workstreams, enhancements, projects, and global rollouts while translating business requirements into technical designs.
- Create technical specification documents, architecture documentation, and deployment guides.
- Conduct secure code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, performance testing, defect resolution, and code tuning.
- Mentor junior developers and promote coding standards, source control, reusable code, version control, and CI/CD practices.
Requirements
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related subject, or relevant equivalent experience.
- Five to seven years of significant relevant experience is required; the technical qualifications also specify seven to ten or more years of Blue Yonder/RedPrairie/JDA WMS experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise with the MOCA Framework, PageBuilder, Integrator, RF Framework, and command and transaction development.
- Strong understanding of receiving, putaway, picking, replenishment, packing, shipping, wave planning, cycle counting, inventory control, and value-added services.
- Experience with multi-site WMS deployments and global support.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, cross-functional collaboration, and technical leadership abilities.
- Preferred qualifications include Blue Yonder WMS Cloud, Luminate, robotics integration, WES, WLM, Azure, AWS, and Agile/Scrum experience.
- The position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
