Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, executes, debugs, and troubleshoots software solutions across multiple technical areas.
- Creates secure, high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that integrate with related systems.
- Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensures software meets design constraints.
- Analyzes large and diverse datasets to create visualizations and reporting that improve software applications and systems.
- Identifies hidden problems and data patterns to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events focused on emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of experience.
- Hands-on practical experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, including experience with modern programming languages and database querying languages.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment.
- Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Understanding of CI/CD, application resiliency, security, and agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of software applications and technical processes in areas such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile.
- Preferred familiarity with modern front-end technologies and cloud technologies.
