
Senior Site Reliability Engineer, Assistant Vice President
State StreetResponsibilities
- Implement SaaS and engineering observability requirements using Dynatrace and other monitoring tools.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and SaaS Operations teams on proactive monitoring needs.
- Build, own, and maintain SRE and operational dashboards, SLOs, alerts, synthetic monitors, and observability configurations.
- Contribute to deployment and configuration-management automation.
- Integrate monitoring alerts with incident-management systems such as ServiceNow and OpsRamp.
- Identify infrastructure needs to support observability as client environments and monitoring sources grow.
- Administer SRE tooling and manage licenses and renewals.
- Triage monitoring-system and integration errors and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in vendor support calls and document observability best practices for engineering and SaaS Operations teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of site reliability experience supporting high-availability SaaS platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Experience with full-stack and cloud monitoring solutions and extensive experience implementing Dynatrace and APM in complex, high-load architectures.
- Familiarity with technology stacks across desktop, cloud, and web environments, plus log analysis experience.
- Experience with Ansible, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and other automation technologies.
- Experience with Java or similar programming languages and workload automation.
- Knowledge of Scrum and Agile principles.
- Preferred background in financial trading systems.
- Strong communication, leadership, mentoring, analytical, and technology-evangelism skills.
